I think this was when we were hiking around the Medley Lakes (along their east side), which is a huge around-the-lake hike 'cuz we pretty much had to go back down as far as Sandpiper because for all the little channels and pockets of water, there was no place to hop across anywhere. We were glad we did it after our day hike up to Flat Note and Three Island Lake 'cuz we did see lots of new areas and angles.
