...12 days before that had been the frisbee at the satellite phone on the wilderness side of the lake explaining how to phone for a ferry reservation, so this time we just figured old frisbee with old writing - we'd seen it. Let's move along, catch that ferry. To be clear, a photo from the beginning of our trip confirmed that this frisbee stating that Florence would be partly drained and the last ferry would be almost a week before our hike out was placed after we hiked in... So this was the junction we had to come back to for our surprise hike around the lake, which had plenty of up and down for its 4.5 miles south of the lake, but more enjoyable scenery, and luckily we weren't too late in the day to tackle it.
